{"is":"issue","title":"2% 504 error rate for API and Short.io website","body":"\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eDetails:\u003c/em\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn 17:45 UTC our clients started to receive intermittent 504 errors for domains short.io, app.short.io, api.short.io and statistics.short.io.\nOur investigation found that the error originates from AWS CloudFront and fix is out of our control, so we escalated issue to AWS Support.\nAfter investigate AWS issued this update to us: Between June 30, 2026 at 17:45 UTC and July 1st 05:48am UTC, we saw intermittent errors for VPC Origin in the US-EAST-1 (IAD) region.\nWe have identified the issue and mitigated it by taking the affected resource out of service to restore your connectivity.\nFull recovery was confirmed at 10:48 PM PDT.
